Products Clicked Tracking
Tracking the product clicks can help in two ways. One, you can easily know which products your visitors are most interested in. Two, you will get much more context when you look into your 360 degree customer profiles. Follow the steps below to set it up for you store.
1.Login to your CustomerLabs account
2. Launch Action Recorder by clicking the iconย
3. You will be redirected to your website and Action Recorder panel will open up
4. You can move the panel up or down by clicking the icon
5. Click on โRecord Actionโ to start recordingย
6. Select โProduct Clickedโ for Action Name or create a custom name if you wish
7. Select โOn Clickโ under Action Type
8. Click on โAdd detailsโ to proceed
9. Select the attributes you want to track, you can start with product name
10. Since your website will have multiple products you can skip the tedious job of creating this event for each and every product. Instead you can easily replicate this process by selecting the โPick Common Selectorโ option
11. Now click on to go to your website
12. Select any one product name from your website
13. Since you have already selected the โPick common selectorโ option, you will simply be able to track all your product clicks
14. Now click โSaveโ and click โNext | Post-Action Triggerโ to proceed
15. Repeat steps 9 to 14, in case you want to track more attributes
16. You can skip the next step by clicking on โNext | Tracking ruleโ
17. Select pages where you need to track product clicks and click โSaveโ and โSave Actionโ
18. Now you are all set to track product clicks!
